Fish

Wrap in a plastic bag, lay flat in the freezer. If possible bring into us as soon as possible after catching. Do no take out the entrails.

SmallGame / Birds

Keep cold if possible. If freezing, wrap in plastic bag leaving fur and feathers flat not deforming. Do not take out the entrails.

Large Game Heads

When taking to be butchered make sure he knows you want to mount the head, making sure if the hide is cut that it is cut off in back of the front shoulders. If possible leave the hide attached to the head. Do not cut up the front of the throat. Many heads have been ruined by cutting off short or up in front of the throat.

Full Mounts

If possible bring in to us and we will skin it out for you at a small additional cost. If on a hunting trip out of start let an experienced guide skin it. Try to keep the animal cold or frozen. Do not salt unless completely fleshed with the lips and ears turned.
